Cleveland Heights (January 16, 1998) -- CH-UH Community Network has established a community website at http://www.chuh.net. The site features SpeakEasy, a community forum, DoEasy, a community calendar, and ConnectEasy, a collection of web pages by CH-UH nonprofit organizations.
CH-UH Community Network was established and incorporated by a group of citizens following a long tradition in the Heights of grass roots community involvement. The incorporators are Robert G. Cheshier, Anne S. McFarland, Charles W. McFarland, Stephen R. Titchenal and R. Allen Wilkinson, who have been joined by a number of other community members in planning this Network. The founders believe in the citizens' abilities and needs to discuss issues as stakeholders in the community.
The Internet offers us an unusual opportunity to join one another in discussions and present necessary information for reading anytime, anywhere. Anyone who is interested in helping with the planning process can contact the CH-UH Community Network at contact.us@chuh.net. The group holds monthly Saturday morning meetings at the CH-UH Main Library.
