2289 North Park Boulevard (1978)

Hugh D. Seaver designed this gracefully proportioned, white frame colonial home for Mr. And Mrs. Preston St. George Floyd in 1924. Mrs. Floyd was the daughter of B. F. Bourne, whose home was next door on the corner of North Park and Harcourt; the sides of the swimming pool on that site were the foundations of the old Bourne home which was brought down in 1930. Much of the original landscaping done by Albert D. Taylor in 1923 for the Bourne home, and by Donald Gray for the Floyd's, can still be seen.
