2405 Edgehill (1978)

This carriage house, reputed to be the largest in the city, was designed by Alfred Hoyt Granger who, at the time, was in partnership with Frank B. Meade. The style of both the carriage house and the John H. Brown house, to which it belonged, is in transition between Victorian and the early twentieth century style of H. H. Richardson. The house was complete in 1896 and the carriage house probably around 1900.
